Valerie Pilot

Valerie Pilot is an experienced program director leading the Oasis Project, a non-profit helping newly released inmates from long-term Jail sentences and prison incarceration transition into the community by providing job placement and job skills training. Her vision includes a 20-unit apartment building in Detroit, Michigan, as a safe community for residents to reintegrate into society. Her commitment to making a positive difference has earned her respect and admiration from colleagues and the community for providing a second chance for those who need it.
